"Healer?" Sadie confirmed. Then she almost called to KApu but stopped herself. He was busy hunting she told herself. Don't bother him. "So, I'm Sadie. That puppy is Champ. There is another member of our pack named Kapu out hunting, and we're trying to stop the humans from taking over our forest."

Champ looked up at the dog, "You are sooovt," he said as he butt-scooted to Nara. "Mummy she's very soft," said Champ to Nara.

She gave a sly nod, then looked are her and the pup. She chuckled, "So, this is your pup, i'm guessing?"

"Oh, no. I just found him actually. I guess I'll be taking care of him, though." Then I turned to Champ, smiled and said, "Oh, I bet she's very soft!" I wasn't used to so many dogs around me. I was used to being alone. But it was time for some change. "I guess I should introduce you to Kapu, wherever he is.

Champ looked up in confusion. "Ka-pu? Who is Kapu? Is Kapu my Daddy, Mummy?"

Sadie blushed deeply and responded, "I guess maybe he'll be your daddy. I don't know. Let's go find him and ask." She gently lifted Champ in her mouth and signaled to the colllie to follow them. She stopped at the den she had made last night and set Champ on the ground. "Kapu!" she called. "Come here, Kapu!"

He shot sraight up, running towards hr with a juicy Sparrow in his mouth. "What is it?"

Champ was excited he had a new daddy. He ran around screaming, "I HAVE A DADDY! I HAVE A MOMMY!"

Champ lurched to a stop then walked slowly towards Kapu, "I. Am. NOT. Adorable!" then tripped over himself

The young pup didn't understand why Kapu was whispering. "Do you love Mommy as much as the world," he yelled enthusiastically.
